The next meeting is a talk on Wednesday 7th February at Parklands Club starting at 1.30 pm. The subject is ‘Archaeology around Doncaster’ and will be delivered by Colin Merrony from the Department of Archaeology at Sheffield University. He comes highly recommended. 

I would also like to remind you about our joint meeting with Doncaster Moviemakers on February 21st. Only two members have let me know that they are bringing a film. Remember it could also be a slide show of your favourite photos and the films could be short videos taken on your mobile phones. The subject could be anything to do with the natural world. So, please let me know if you are bringing a film or slide show and how long it will last.
