The next meeting is this Wednesday 20th September to RSPB Adwick Washlands. Meet at 10.30 on the car park on Furlong Road SE474022. The leader is Les Coe.

Les visited the site on Saturday and found it to be a bit quiet seeing 3 Ruff and 4 Black-tailed Godwits but no Avocets. Les suggests that we have a walk around the washlands then finish the day with a visit to nearby Old Moor which seems to be attracting more interesting birds. The paths are good at both sites. There are toilets and a café at Old Moor but there is a charge to enter the reserve.
