The next meeting is this Saturday 11th May. It is a joint meeting with the YNU Botanical Section to Rossington lead by Louise Hill.

Meet at 10.30am near Brodsworth Way Pavilion, DN110FD, SK62819790.

We will be exploring the dry acid grassland and ponds around Gravel Hill Plantation near Rossington Hall. Highlights include Spring Vetch (Vicia lathyroides), Annual Knawel (Scleranthus annuus) and Bird’s Foot (Ornithopus perpusillus).

It will be an all day meeting as YNU members will be travelling from all over Yorkshire. You can of course leave at any time. Bring lunch.
