Winter Programme 2018-19

Afternoon meetings are held in Doncaster Museum at 2.30pm on the first Wednesday of the month (except January). Parking may be difficult.

Evening meetings are usually held in Parklands Club, off Wheatley Hall Road, Wheatley (except Feb). Follow the signs to the meeting room.

Field meetings may be subject to last minute changes due to weather, etc, so it is helpful if we know if you are coming.

For outdoor meetings wear stout footwear and suitable weather wear. For moth nights bring a torch, hot drink and warm clothes. Please note that attendance at field meetings is at your own risk. Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at 10.00 am in the RSPB car park at Adwick-on-Dearne Bridge SE474023 for a walk.
Lunch at the Manvers Arms, Adwick.
Sat 26 9 am AGM at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve in the new Visitor Centre.
Followed by lunch in the Visitor Centre cafe and a walk.
FEBRUARY

The story of Yorkshire Wildlife Park by Park staff.
Wed 20 7.15 pm Flintwood Methodists Church, Intake
Joint meeting with Doncaster Moviemakers.
Bring your short movies and digital photo shows. Let the secretary know in advance of what you might bring, to co-ordinate our efforts. We provide the refreshments, so please bring a contribution if you can.
The secretary can provide a map for directions to the venue.
Sat 23 South Yorkshire Natural History Day.

Bob draws on his unique collection of landscape photos going back over 40 years.
