Programme – January – June 2022

Everyone is welcome to the meetings below. For outdoor meetings wear stout footwear, suitable weather wear, and as appropriate, insect repellent and sunscreen. For day meetings bring a drink and a packed lunch. Mothing sessions – usually arranged at short notice – bring a torch, hot drink and warm clothes. Other field visits may be arranged, depending on the weather. Detailed information about excursions will be sent by email about a week before the event. Please let Margaret know if you will be coming to an excursion, so that the leader knows how many will attend and any changes or cancellations can be notified.

Attendance is at your own risk. Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.

Doncaster Naturalists’ events are in bold.

Covid-19. At the moment we have  no indoor meetings .

A visit can be arranged to see glow-worms which needs it to be dark. The site is near
Penistone and will take an hour to get there. We could have a walk in the area in the late
afternoon followed by a pub meal and then the glow worms, or just glow-worms. Please let
Margaret know if you are seriously interested. It would be in June or July.
