The next meeting is this coming Wednesday 8th November, a ramble around Hatfield Moor with Colin Howes.

Meet at (Now 11 am not 10.30am as previous) in the Natural England visitor centre car park off the A614 (SE684049) and the post code is DN7 6BF.

It’s a round walk of about 3 miles with bird hides. Mainly flat. Bring a packed lunch.

Due to the recent high rainfall and predicted heavy rain for our visit Wednesday, this is likely to be a Wellies, Waterproofs and Umbrella job. Also, sadly, we won’t be able to take refuge in the bird hides since these have been boarded up due to recent vandalism!

There will be options for a short visit and an all-day visit.
