Car park Location: Map OS Explorer 279 Grid Reference SK 587863, Post Code S81 9NW. Follow the A60 towards the southern end of Langold. By some traffic lights by the Hilltop Working Mens’ Club at the road junction opposite turn into Ramsden Avenue, then immediately left into Church Street. Continue along this road which eventually leads to a left turn near a footpath entrance to Dyscarr Wood, then down a slope to a large car park by a children’s play area.
There are toilets and a cafe here. Meet by the Langold Park Display Board. There are a range of different habitats with well-marked footpaths. Dyscarr Wood, a Nottingham Wildlife Trust SSSI site, is also worth exploring.
