Gomde UK Net Zero and Beyond: Our Journey to a Carbon-Neutral Future

Special Webinar: Thursday 5th August at 7pm BST

Over the coming years, what we do to get to carbon net zero (when the amount of greenhouse gases we add to the atmosphere is no more than the amount we take away) will have a major impact on the world we live in.

The UK has committed to achieving net zero by 2050. In recognition that reaching net zero is a crucial step in the fight against climate change, a Doncaster charity, Gomde UK, is committing to achieve it by 2022. Gomde UK is a Buddhist Centre that owns and manages the Lindholme Hall Estate, a 180-acre ‘island’, which lies within the Humberhead Peatlands National Nature Reserve, in the centre of Hatfield Moor. By becoming carbon net zero Gomde hopes to demonstrate a clear commitment to getting ahead of the challenge to help prevent catastrophic climate change and to become an inspirational, real-life example for sustainable living.

They are holding a special free webinar to share their plans for a carbon-neutral future.
