Frogspawn arrived in our pond last night (25 clumps) and I expect quite a few more over the coming week. So far I have recorded lesser celandine, colt’s foot and blackthorn in flower, a red-tailed bumblebee searching for early flowers and several 7 spot ladybird emerging from hibernation.

The snowdrops are now out and putting on a good display at Kirk Bramwith Church.

Whilst cycling back from Tim’s Dad’s house a few minutes ago, I had to ‘help’ a large female frog across the road.
I have also seen a couple of ladybirds on the move.
I reckon we’ll have frog spawn in the pond next week – especially if the temperatures are as high as the Met office is suggesting.
